Lake Bluff Preserve is a stunning 70-acre private preserve located in Frankfort, MI. Our intimate and unique property overlooks the stunning Lake Michigan and offers couples the perfect destination for wedding celebrations, reunions, retreats, and more with family and friends. We offer numerous vacation homes that can lodge your guests, each offering its own charm and privacy.

Our vacation homes provide an ideal perch for watching the sunset over the water, wraparound decks, dune fire pits perfect for making s'mores, and plenty of room to explore the outdoors. Just two miles from downtown Frankfort, you'll find local restaurants, breweries, boutiques, outdoor rental shops, Frankfort's Public Beach and lighthouse, and more!

Facilities and Capacity

Elopements (30 guests or less) at Lake Bluff Preserve offers couples an intimate experience with family and friends. Stay in one of the houses on the upper bluff and say your vows overlooking Lake Michigan, or say "I do" on the lower bluff in our charming woods. For weddings over 30 guests, we have a package that includes lodging in all the upper bluff houses with outdoor space for your perfect ceremony and reception. Currently we do not offer the ability to host just a ceremony/reception at Lake Bluff Preserve.

Services Offered

Lake Bluff Preserve is pleased to offer clients recommendations for various nearby vendors to assist with your event. These include transportation, tents, catering, photographers, wedding planners, florists and more. Guests staying here will have easy access to local attractions such as Point Betsie Lighthouse, Crystal Lake, Platte Lakes, and Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore.
